Memorials.

“Charlie’s Stanes” were placed on “Charlies Hill” in the late 18th century; according to traditional narrative Bonnie Prince Charlie was based here during the initial stages of a significant battle in 1746. Orders were issued from here during the battle and prisoners interrogated. The standing stones area needs cleared out, it’s quite neglected, overgrown once again.
