Sunflower

For years I said I had never grown a sunflower. Last year a mysterious plant came up which was the remains of a Jerusalem artichoke ( aka sunflower). This year it’s back and taking over but very healthy and will flower later in the year. I was sent some free seeds so thought I would have a go even though I didn’t have space for such a plant. Never say never to a gardener. These are only about half a metre tall and a pale yellow colour but still pretty. This one has been in the house but past it’s use by date so ready to be composted.
