Jelly ears
Today's the first time this week I've managed to get out for a decent walk at lunchtime - and to do so without getting rained on is a bonus.
This is an impressive crop of jelly-ear fungus growing on a dead ash tree beside the loch. The fungus is edible, but it's all a long way out of reach. This is the first time I've seen any around here, so will have a hunt around to see if I can find some within reach.
Extra is the inevitable seasonal snowdrop shot.
