Some Scriptures from the 2022 desk calendar

The Feast Day of St. Agatha.
I have not a brilliant grasp of the whole Bible.
I read it in a simple modern translation all the way through once. I try to read it each day. It is an important part of daily Holy Mass.
It is very well respected by many believers and gives some great Godly guidance for living in a non modernistic way, as in, not to please the world.
I bought this Scripture verse a day calendar via Amazon and it is a great tool for focussing the often dreadfully distracted mind, if even for a few moments on the Word of God.
It can be seen as beautiful. It points you toward Heaven and does not ask of you to do reprehensible behaviour or sinfulness.
It can be a good mirror to look into.
It can be greatly helpful or very challenging if you or me are off course. It is a signpost, a light for the soul. A yardstick.
God is a forgiving Creator and sent Jesus for us sinners to bring back the truly repentant people.
