Logie Steading

Went to Logie Steading with the folks this afternoon, its out in the back of beyond somewhere between Forres and Carrbridge but well worth a wee visit. In fact we were quite surprised that we hadn't happened upon it before as we are well up on where to get a cuppa and a good scone round these parts ;o)

Its a really sweet little place with a really great secondhand bookshop, an art gallery, home and garden shops, handmade crafts, wools etc and, of course, a cracking cafe! (after M's birthday yesterday and scones again today the diet is going somewhat arwy...)

Today was one of those days where its gorgeous sunshine one second and chucking it down the next. I was most amused by the couple out in the courtyard who quite unconcerned simply put their hoods up and continued drinking their tea in the rain! I was really torn between my blip of them or this chap happily kneeling in front of some of the books in the sun. This one won out though as it was a slightly better pic :o)
