Deco-dance!

Bit of a lie in this morning after being out late last night - bliss! Then went for brunch at the best Diner ever. Its Ellen's Starburst Diner and is just brilliant. All the waiting staff are working towards their big Broadway breaks and sing all the time. Most entertaining.

Mels went to MoMA and Mags and I went down to the Garment District and perused all the material stores then took a wander down 42nd St and went to see the lobby of the Chrysler Building. Utterly wondrous!
I've been in love with the elevator doors for many many years (I have lots of art deco books) so it was fantastic to see them up close.
Ohhhhh Deco, if only everything was like that!

Still horribly drippily hot here, we are praying for a great big storm to clear the air!

Only one full day left, how did that happen?! :(
