Rain, rain and more rain

Today it has been raining. ALL DAY.


I got absolutely soaked on my morning walk and then Ann went to work 11-3pm. She got absolutely soaked walking to and from work (and the shop that she works in, is only 5 mins away).


The plan was.................. take me out for an hour or so when she got home and then she was going to head over to her friends house for dinner at around 6pm-ish.


Rain stopped play??!!


Ann texted her friend, Susi, and asked if it were OK if I came for dinner too. Susi has two cats and even though Ann never, ever sees them, she doesn't feel it's fair to take me into the cat's home. (Ann & Susi always just sit in the kitchen and the cats are usually lurking about in the bedrooms).

Anyway, it was raining so hard that Ann thought that if we did the 'dog walk ' to Susi's then she'd only have to get wet once. #methodinhermadness  So that is what we did.

Left home at 3.50pm, got to Susi's at 4.30pm, the humans had a few glasses of wine and a very yummy early dinner. Got the 6.35pm bus home and were back indoors by 6.45pm??!! #weknowhowtolive

…..................Welcome to the world of how a 60yr old+ human (and her gorgeous little collie pup) spends her Saturday evenings. Lol, lol, lol.

…................Oh and if anyone is interested........................ it's 8.15pm and it's still raining..............
