New homes

We walked through the fields near our house this afternoon before the Six Nations Rugby clash at Murrayfield. Our lucky saltire bunting did the trick in a very close game! A game in which England dominated but failed to win.

The top soil in this field is being lifted to provide flower beds in a nearby new build development. It is interesting to see how new earth and turf, roads and pavements are already in place before a single brick is laid.

I was surprised this evening by The Queen’s announcement on the eve of the 70th anniversary of her accession about her wish that Camilla be made King Charles III’s Queen Consort.
