Beach Life

Another glorious day, can't fault the weather. Wandering around our part of the coastline just enjoying the sun and stopping for a drink. Back to the house when the sun goes in and on with the radiators! The house does not retain the heat of the day at this time of year. We went up to town and found a taller (workshop) where we were able to sort out a new front door for our little house. It was the last thing to be replaced and unfortunately the man who did the work for us originally, fell ill with heart trouble and has been unable to work since. This left us with having to procure a wooden front door ourselves. A lot of exterior doors here are made from metal that just look like wood but we wanted the real thing. We (hopefully) have managed to order a door that will be ready for fitting in July when we go back. At least, the man came to measure and took a deposit........ fingers crossed :-)
