Everyone a Charlton champion ....

I spent another Saturday morning volunteering at Charlton parkrun (again as a barcode scanner with a sideline in photography).

It was a colder morning than last week, with the same nagging westerly wind facing the runners each time they ran along the south side of the park. Just over 170 took part this time (down from around 210 last week), but I got quite a few waves and smiles (see the whole set on Flickr).

Later on, Helen, Orla and I went to the seaside, down to Sandwich to be exact. We walked from the town down, over the golf courses, to Sandwich Bay and back, having a late 'lunch' in the town before driving home again
