Our Platinum Jubilee Queen

Yesterday the Yorkshire Post had a wonderful Souvenir Supplement for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The back page was this reproduction of the front page of the paper on February 7th 1952.
Inside were two pages of photographs. One for each year of her reign. ( see extras)

There was also a touching photo of her and her father, King George V1.( see extra)

Today will of course bring back sad memories for her.
However it was good to see her enjoying herself, and looking so happy, yesterday as she met with members of the Sandringham community.
