Between...

The shot was taken on our morning walk between windy showers . Every time I walk past this spot , several times a week, I position myself self so that the trickling water of the small waterfall appears between the two leaning tree trunks.
For some reason , it really appeals to me.

We have pottered today and got several small jobs done plus packing a suitcase for our trip to see some friends next weekend. It’s nice to feel organised!

I wondered if any of you might be able to offer advice re binoculars suitable for bird watching . Mine are too heavy to carry around when I’ve got other stuff to carry too and so I would like a lighter pair . Mine have really good lenses and are great for stationary birdwatching but I tend to leave them behind so I need something that I can wear around my neck without them feeling to heavy. I wondered if any of you fellow blippers could suggest some that would be more portable.
