Icelandic convoy reunited.

Our first adventure as a five {Famous Five Maybe } was in Iceland , a trip involving a convoy of 3 camper vans , hot pools , geysers and so on . We had such fun!
This photo was taken around midnight not long after Dette had arrived, it was so nice to gather around the blazing log fire and catch up.
Today I have felt so much better, my head no longer full of cold and able to feel the delights on offer more sharply. This morning we walked across the frozen lake , stopping awhile to have a proper look at the beaver lodge and nearby tree stumps that have been feasted on by the hungry creatures who are raising their new born kits in the safety of their underground apartments not far from where we had parked our feet.
Later, as daylight fading sweetly into night time we snowshoed up the nearby hill , following the tracks of elk and roe deer that share this living space . No tracks of lynx but we are always hopeful! The sky took on hues of greys and purples with an orange streak  hand painted across the horizon . 
Delicious scents of food cooking have  floated from kitchen in the Red House house throughout the day . Our hostess has been very busy.
