Huskies!

Docked in Kirkenes after breakfast, donned umpteen layers of clothes and then headed out to go dog sledding. The place we went has 140 huskies and we petted quite a few that weren’t selected for our group’s outing. Then ‘Mush!’ equivalent in Norwegian and we were off up a track and onto a sun-kissed frozen fjord. Fabulous! Amazingly it was quite a ‘warm’ day or else we would have needed even more Arctic clothes. Interesting (?) fact: the dogs have to learn to crap on the run.
We’ve had an early aurora display tonight. Haven’t downloaded the pics yet but I did post one from last night as an Extra to yesterday’s blip.
