Hibiscus flower

This is a hibiscus flower taken with my new camera (Olympus E620) with the pop art setting. It intensifies the color and seems to blur things quite a bit. I kind of like the effect in small doses.

Today was spent gardening and the I went to a David Sedaris presentation. He is so funny.

I give thanks for the day I was given, my tax refund that got me the camera, writers like David Sedaris and laughter.
