Mara is 1 year old (tomorrow)!

Today wash Mara's birthday party. She turns 1 tomorrow. She is walking, trying to run, and babbling. She is quite the little person, very independent and she really knows her mind. I have such a wonderful time taking care of her while her mother and dad are at work.

We had the party at the botanical gardens overlooking the koi pond, Mara's favorite place at the Albuquerque Biopark, with ice cream cake and strawberry popsicles from Trader Joe's.

Today, I give thanks for all of my family, my son who seems very happy with a new girlfriend, my daughter, her husband and the baby, and all my friends, and the day I was given.
