I feel that I should apologise for posting a selfie, the only capture I made today. 

I was lucky enough to have a hair appointment booked just an hour after it was announced that all salons will be closing for two weeks from Thursday to try and tackle the current surge in Covid cases here in ZeroCovid City. Seems that it’s not only a “foreigners’ problem” after all. 

We are facing the sternest measures yet here. Such a pity that the government didn’t put more effort into dispelling the superstitions of those who stubbornly resisted getting their vaccinations when it mattered, a year ago. 

Let’s hope the salon ban is lifted before I’m due for my next trim.
