The old and the new

Driving through Stirling late this afternoon the light caught Stirling castle towering over the houses below.
Heard of yet another Covid case today. 
 
More worrying though is the cost of living. Had coffee with a friend and we compared notes from basic household essentials and food to heating and major household repairs. It looks like you can add a third on to the cost if you are planning on doing any building. Fortunately we are not.
 
We may be coming out of Covid but we fear there is worse coming down the line .
