General Eisenhower

My grandfather took this picture in 1945. After World War II, General Eisenhower took part in a victory parade in Kansas City, Missouri.  You can see him saluting as he stands in the car.
Eisenhower was from Kansas, and there is a World War I Liberty Memorial in Kansas City,  Missouri, which this parade passed.  Looks like the crowd was huge for this event.  Of course,  Eisenhower became president in 1952.
