I was searching for an idea for dinner and looked at our old Moosewood cookbook, now tattered from use. These days some of the recipes have too much fat for us, but these notes I added at the back look fine. We did make ice cream snow (plenty of snow in Rochester NY), although it probably wasn’t all that safe to eat. But we didn’t know that 40 years ago.
I decided to roast some veg to serve with polenta.
