Camellia

Today's the day ....................... to say Happy Birthday!

It's my sister's birthday today, a 'significant' one, and so this camellia is just for her.  It's one of the first flowers to open in the garden and is always lovely to see.  It's absolutely covered in buds too - so the whole bush which must be about ten feet high, is going to look very colourful soon.

PS To anyone who has done the Wordle  today (which might include my sister) - what did you think of today's word?  I know I'm a spelling pedant of the Old School variety - but really, it shouldn't be allowed, should it?!
