Twiggy branches

I've edited this in Snapseed to allow the strange, chaotic twigginess of this tree branch to be the real focus of the picture. I've taken photos of this old tree's branches before - I guess because the shapes interest me. I'm wondering if this is an example of what they call 'Witches' Broom'? I might be completely wrong!

You can see an unedited picture of this particular branch in my extras, as well as some pretty Cyclamen flowers that were newly opening in my garden - quite close to the Snowdrops I showed in the day before's blip. (I'm still a week behind right now and doing back blips by the way)
