White-breasted Nuthatch

Mrs. drewox and I went into Ottawa (our nation's capital) to visit friends and to 'do lunch'. Mrs. drewox and Mrs. friend L went shopping (surprise) and Mr. friend G and I went on a walk around a lovely little lake right in the city (Mud Lake). The ice was about half-way off the lake and the trail was snowy about half-way round so it seemed like we were only half-way to spring! This Nuthatch was about half-way tame so was willing to come pretty close. All-in-all a wholly satisfying day!
