"From The Specialist's Room"

...Just outside, on the verandah of the very old stone, and bullnose verandah of today's Specialist's room, I could see the interesting angles of the corner of the (replaced) verandah. Angles intrigue me as well, and ofcourse having my camera with me, I asked today's Specialist's receptionist if I could take a photo of that. Fine, and so here it is - cobwebs and all.

...Our morning ofcourse - didn't turn out as planned - I was supposed to have the first of my desensitizing injections - and was informed at the desk, I didn't NEED to see the good Specialist for that, and then the nurse discovered they hadn't received the serum for me after all....
They sorted that all out with someone else's serum pack the same who hadn't had his ofcourse, but THEN - I told them nicely ofcourse - that I should REALLY be seeing the Specialist to update him anyway on my last year of health disasters, BEFORE I start on the injections...

Well, OK, but you don't NEED to do that, - yes - I do - as I've had a heart attack & a stroke - Oh - and in rushed the good Specialist quick smart, and sat down with me....

Oh, he said quite concerned....we shall have to alter everything now, just as well you didn't have the injection and we'll have do this another way - and not have the injections after all - as it could make you even worse...(!).

(Can you see what I mean by keeping ahead with you own health issues, Doctors are busy these days, especially Specialists) - and so - after explaining to me I shall have to have a tetanus injection, instead, when I get home (!) plus antibody blood tests due to the immune system being depleted, plus follow -ups on the results of the blood tests as a result of the tetanus injection, and another one to kill off anything that shouldn't be in the lung. - So that's a very different treatment than the one I was all set up for..) The Specialist was most relieved and I can see why yesterday's Specialist told me he would hand me over to my capable today's Specialist...
(I did tell him of yesterday's episode of disaster in the clinic House)
I really do think both of them will have a strong black coffee after seeing Estelle...

I think this is why most doctors/specialists don't forget me as I ask questions to the full..after all, I've been around for longer than most of them!!!

And PepperG - my adventures continue too...we'll hang in there and get there yet, eh!!!

PS: It was all becoming too much (frustrating) for poor John and so he had to have a rest this afternoon! PPS: He's fine now...and looking forward to dinner with my cousin and his wife tonight!!
