Dogs welcome in the golf clubhouse!

Today I took Libby for a walk in Home Park instead of her going to Bushy Park. The Hampton Court Palace Golf Club was taken over by new owners a year or so ago and they have enlarged the clubhouse and…opened it to visitors for drinks and food from 8am. This is a notice I had not spotted before actually welcoming dogs but a sensible move from the owners as there are many people who walk their dogs there. Today it was sunny so there were several groups with their dogs sitting outside, however dogs are welcome inside too so we will try out the catering soon as I’ve just looked on their website and quite a choice for breakfast or lunch. I imagine it’s busier at weekends with golfers. There is a big car park which you can use if you are going to the restaurant ( and do a dog walk before or after!)
