A Conceptual Porcine Portrayal

I thought I would attempt a bit of pig based conceptual art for today's blip...well not really. It's actually an an extreme emergency blip as it was getting late and my mind had gone completely blank image wise - then I saw an M & S carrier bag with a Percy Pig on the front and thought why not! So I upped the ante on the contrast and this is the result. A masterpiece that belongs in a gallery I'm sure you'll agree! :-)
Therefore, I've decided to carry on with my theme and list some of my favourite pig related entities (not sure that's the right word):

Pigs In Space - this was a recurring sketch from The Muppet Show featuring the exploits of Captain Link Hogthrob, First Mate Piggy and Doctor Julius Strangepork - leading a crew of pigs aboard the Swinetrek. It still makes me laugh out loud just thinking about it!

"The Plastic Pig" - this was the name we gave to one of my dad's old cars. It was a Reliant Regal three wheeler - just like the yellow van driven by Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter in Only Fools And Horses but it was blue (thank god it wasn't pink) not yellow, had windows in the back and thankfully did not have "Trotters Independent Trading Co" written on the sides but certainly embarrassing enough when we were kids! It just brings back so many memories - the fact that you couldn't take it out on really windy days as it would blow over, if the three of us kids sat in the back one of us would have to sit on the wheel arch which intruded into the cabin with your head touching the roof (the other two always thought this was hilarious) and when the reverse gear failed to work (which happened all the time) we would all have to get out and manhandle it (it was made of fibreglass so light enough to manoeuvre by hand).

Pigs In Blankets - delicious! :-)
