Swineshead Church

We went out today for several reasons. To visit a prospective customer to give a quote; to do a "dummy run" from another north Bedfordshire village so Callum knows how long for the journey when he does the work in a couple of weeks time; to drop off some donations to the hedgehog rescue and to have a bite to eat around lunchtime.
All very successful. The prospective customer lives in a small village called Swineshead. I’d researched the church as it looked very blippable. It was.
St Nicholas Church. Unusual because it dates almost entirely in structure and fabric from the Decorated period - early 14th century.
It was really lovely, but a bugger to photograph as it sits much higher than the road. So I took it from this angle.
The clock only has one hand, also typical of early clock towers. Who knew that was a thing!
The dummy run was fine. Lunch was excellent. The Coffee Cup Cafe at Colmworth Golf Club. All their meat is supplied by Knotts Farm who are just down the road from me.
And now to my extra - if anyone can help (Google can’t) what does the lettering on the church gates mean. ADMM - my best guess is Anno Domini year 2000, as in when those gates were made, but if anyone knows or has a better suggestion please do let me know.
