Striking A Pose

The receding snowline leaves more to explore along the margin as increasing details are revealed. I got interested in patches of thin ice over some pebbles, through which I could make out a few details. Bits of twigs and things half buried and stones poking through created textures and shapes. I find concentrating on small scenes such as this quite relaxing.

In this frame I discovered a stick figure, pardon the pun, formed by a few twigs, with a small rock for a head and a couple of seed pods as arms. I liked this image because of its simplicity, yet there's quite a lot to explore in it.
