Mole Cricket
No1 son and his fiancé were having a meeting with their wedding planner and the hotel manager.
I was in the lobby waiting to give him some stuff he had forgotten to take with him the other day.
When they arrived the mother-in law and hubby were in tow. Well, I say "in tow" but in actual fact she was leading the assault. Leading it to the point that she didn't even say 'Good Morning' to me. For two and a half hours she held the wedding planner hostage trying to get things right for "MY" wedding apparently ( bit of a Freudian slip there I feel).
The woman has absolutely no interest in what the bride and groom want (especially the groom). Seemingly she was still bitching about the price of the photographers and saying that they had no relevance to the day..................
HELLO! - I am paying for the photographers and they are the ones producing the only real and tangible lasting memories of the day. Maybe I will make sure she gets no official pictures and she if she still thinks they have no relevance.
At the end of the meeting she breezed off without even looking in my direction. Obviously I am of no significance to the day either.
The woman is a tight fisted, self-centred harridan.
She has organised a stag night and a hen night but has not told the grooms side anything about it and made sure that Bags can't go because both events are on at the same time and there is nobody to look after the children. The best man and his wife are coming from America and he has been excluded from everything.
Her interference has even gone to the lengths of trying to organise family events for 'her' family everyday and including the bride and groom - including every day of their honeymoon.
I think I may be forced to drown the woman - she is turning this family holiday and happy event into a nightmare.
On another note .....................
This is a mole cricket and it was definitely on the large side for its species
