In the afternoon we picked up a car club car and drove down to the Borders, to visit some friends at their home near Selkirk. What a novelty - social interaction! Someone else’s house! We had a lovely evening of blethering while eating a nice meal and drinking wine. 

I had taken a photo of the convivial dining table just before we decided to head for bed - this was just after 11 pm and D suggested that I check the camera in case I hadn’t put its clock back. I hadn’t - so the photo was apparently taken tomorrow. Hastily grabbed this snap of one of the bookshelves in our bedroom - taken on the iPad at 11:58!!
