Amandine's Plot Treize

Sowing flower seeds

As the greenhouse has been so warm with the bubblewrap insulation and the days are now noticeably longer, I thought this would be a good time to start sowing flower seeds.

I find that flower seedlings don't do too well when it gets really hot so it's best to start them sooner rather than later if you're lucky to have a greenhouse! I sowed 2 types of Rudbeckia, Cosmos, Calendula, Lobelia and Verbena.

I restocked my supply of wooden plant labels this week and, now that I'm a horticultural student, I know how to do labels properly: name of plant at the front + date at the back. No need to add my initials as there's only me on this plot...
