Well.....At Last...!!

It’s finished ...it’s not joined together yet as I’m still trying to decide how...!!?
I’m really very pleased with it...in a year of almost total ‘lockdown ‘ it kept me amused....we won’t be forgetting 2021 anyway and now I have It commemorated in my Temperature Blanket...
It starts on the left hand side as you look at it from January 1st to June 30th and then from the bottom up on the right hand July 1st to December 31st.....
It took 19 balls of yarn ....not all used up of course (especially the warmer colors)!!...and cost roughly 80€ including postage on some yarn...!!
Not bad value seeing as it is full double bed sized...and very heavy and warm to feel...!

My extra is my latest attempt to make Ginger Snap Biscuits...not an easy task this...(well very easily made actually but to get the taste right) ...is another challenge entirely.
My friend and I have made 2 batches ..neither of which were ‘right’....too cakey..no snap...not enough ginger so no flavor..
And if any one else has made these ??? I’d love to know why so much bicarb (Bread Soda) in the recipes....???
This is why we also think they taste fairly awful....
So I only used a ‘pinch ‘ today and I think they are the best yet...!!
