Hazel Catkins

The weather was mostly sunny today, and I went for a walk with my friend U this afternoon. It was so good to chat with her, I completely forgot about blipping and only snapped this photo on the last stretch of the way.

We walked to the next village and back, taking a few detours for scenic views (which I forgot to blip), up and down the slopes and vineyards in between. The “up” parts made me aware of how badly out of shape I am after the long winter months spent mostly indoors. But I hope to sleep a lot better tonight.
