The Amazing Jolang

Mauzee and I had a wonderful catch up with the world’s oldest blipper this morning.  Jolang is very proud of her blip status, but you should see her garden.  After a cup of coffee and a good natter we wandered around the garden with her.  The Dahlias and Hydrangeas are a standout and I couldn’t resist taking this shot of Jolang standing next to one of my favourites.
It’s been a very rugged few weeks for our friend and we both have great admiration for the way she is handling being apart from her beloved Curt, who is still in hospital.  Many of our blippers in the mountains have visited Jolang and Curt over the years and never ceased to be amazed at the their creativity and love of life.  It just exudes from all areas of their home and garden.  Thanks again for the catch up Joan, it was so inspiring once again to spend time with you.  I have added an extra of Joan’s spectacular Lace Cap Hydrangea, well worth having a look :0)
