EBs and (not) roses

This is what I believe IntoTheHills refers to as an "emergency blip".

I was in school all day today for some final interviews, so opportunities for photography were somewhat restricted.

I did take one photo of Flea (the cat) but that was a little lacklustre, so I thought I'd try something with some candlelight and the flowers the Minx and I bought from Booths, today. Meh.

Speaking of which, is it peculiar to Booths in Kirkby Lonsdale or are flowers in shorted supply and more expensive everywhere else, too? I've always been partial to a £5 bunch of roses, but those seem to have doubled in price. Which is a "no" from me.
