Su and I went over to Little Ponton Hall, a private house near Grantham. They open 2or 3 times a year when the gardens are looking at their best. This time it was to see the snowdrops and aconites. I have never seen so many aconites together- it was breathtaking. It was a low key affair ( cash only) but with plant sales and a tea barn with proceeds to the local church, and a few craft stalls. Rather charming really if a bit eccentric and worth the 30 minutes trip. Went back to mine to move furniture around in the kitchen. Dining area and comfy seating have completely swopped places. Think I prefer it like this but will decide finally in a couple of days. Had a Korean takeaway from grounded kitchen . Spicy but good
