Ham on a grey day

Decided to go out before the rain so I went along  the river to the Ham area.
This sign has only been put up in the last couple of years, it shows Ham House and the river. It is just by Ham Common. I think cricket used to be played on the common but I have not seen it being played in recent years. There is a pond in the common dating back to when horses were watered on the common.

Yesterday my blip had a lovely blue sky, not today! It is now raining and I suspect will be lots this week.
