We’ve been meaning to go here for brunch ever since it opened and today we finally managed it. It’s so close to our house, can’t believe it’s taken so long.

I’d already had a small breakfast so I just had a coffee and almond croissant, but Matt went all out with a salmon and egg crumpet with all sorts of fancy accoutrements. Definitely worth a walk up the hill (and then a longer walk to Perrett’s Park and back to kill time before their kitchen opened!)

Did a couple of life admin things during the day then walked up a different hill to watch the rugby with the gang. Dave and Sam joined us this week, Beano was a bit over-excited by the presence of so many people but he soon calmed down and had lots of cuddles.
