Onward
The weather was cold but calm for a change. With more wind and rain forecast for the weekend, I decided to grab the chance for a long run, despite tired legs. I went out to the far end of the moor - a bit over 10 miles. I was amazed at just how many trees were blown down in the plantation, making progress along the track quite difficult at times. It was a slog over the last few boggy miles as the knees got a bit cranky, but my head was certainly better for it at the end.
I managed to finish off some words for my website to describe the forthcoming book and its journey into existence. I'm trying to embrace being better at self-promotion! E and I have written quite a bit over the last few months, talking about the book for various purposes, and I wanted to collect them into one coherent piece. There have not been too many attempts to bring photography and poetry together as we have here. We honestly don't know if the concept works and how the book is likely to be received. We do know that we're very proud of it, though. Perhaps that's the most important thing.
Take a look. Offcumdens.
