Birthday Blooms

Sometimes I’ve noticed there’s a theme appears when receiving birthday gifts.
This year it seems to be garden related.
Although the tub on the left was given a few weeks ago (and blipped) as a gift to hubby in his recently diagnosed illness, the rest are all birthday gifts.
Most of them will end up planted in the garden (not the gloves obvs) but are currently sheltering indoors by the kitchen window.

Had a much quieter birthday than anticipated as our lovely lot down south couldn’t come up for the weekend as planned. Son-in-law is on the mend but baby grandson is still not back to his usual self yet.

Yummy breakfast cooked by daughter, Colin the Caterpillar cake for lunch (!), church this afternoon and dinner in a local hotel.

Nice and full up and off for an early night cos I’m older than I was yesterday…. :)
