A day to be outdoors

What a day! We knew there would be plenty of people out in Ruckle Park, but there's lots of space for all of us to enjoy the park and sea air.  Everyone we passed commented on how good it feels to have a sunny day. I couldn't decide which photo to use as the main one so I made a collage. I was going to use the first extra because the main reason we went to Ruckle was to see if there were any lambs yet. There were, but too far away for a good photo. I love the old orchard - and if you look closely, you might spot the Highland coos in the field in the upper middle. G spotted the 2nd extra, and I thought of a Sasquatch when he pointed it out. I liked the clouds in the 3rd extra. 
Sunday soup: creamed asparagus and leek, a recipe from Renata. She's made it a few times for us when we were over visiting. I hope mine is as delicious as hers!
