Droitwich Canal

Out with the Canal and River Trust volunteers today cleaning and oiling a couple of the locks on the Droitwich Canal. This is Lock No1 on the canal and leads onto the River Severn seen in the background. This lock was totally under water during the River Severn floods last year. It was hard work clearing away all the silt etc but we were a very satisfied crew when we left the lock looking ship shape.
