Sad day

Today was the funeral of our friend and neighbour, Ted. There were a lot of people attending which shows the measure of the man.
We are going to miss him, after more than 23 years of being next-door neighbours. 
He was a lovely man. 
No more chats over the fence :(
Photo - surprised the snowdrops survived all the heavy rain and high winds we've been having.
The primroses are spreading and crocuses beginning to flower.
Not in the photo but some of our daffs are almost open. I hope they wait till the forecast storm has passed (Wed-Thu).
