Lanercost Priory

I had a Echo cardiogram at Carlisle Hospital this morniing, (it went well - and everything seems normal). After which we drove out to Lanercost Priory, which looked wonderful when the clouds parted and the Sun came out. I composed this with quite a lot of foreground, to include the layout of the parts of the building that are no longer standing. After which we walked along Hadrians Wall from Banks Turret to Birdoswald.

On Valentines day, I always include something heart related - as I didn't get a pic of my Echo-Cardiogram, I made do with the collection of hearts we have hanging on a key hook.
