Church on Sunday #5 - Steps To St Mary's

Continuing with my Church on Sunday theme, the day was non stop rain.  We had an invite for Sunday dinner with some friends so I had to get out in the morning to take today's photo and it was bucketing down.  I managed to get parked up reasonably close to this entrance which helped not getting too waterlogged.  

I wanted a more unusual viewpoint but did not want to spend much time on composition so grabbed this photo and then ran back to the car.   I got the "Are you mad" stare when I got home lol.  Even our friends were a little gobsmacked when they learnt I had gone out in the heavy rain to get a photo.
