(Very) early primroses

Not all that it seems as it appeared as these had been planted around a pile of logs created as an insect hotel. Made a nice splash of colour on a wet, miserable day. Oh! for the snow, sun and scenery of last week.

Spent the afternoon working on drawing up a plan of our allotment site, working out dimensions and areas and preparing my statement for tonight’s full council meeting.

The agenda item on the allotment was feisty. I’ll quote from someone who was at the meeting:

“All bluff and bluster no answers and no clear information, rudeness, condescension and clear obstructiveness...they will do what they want in the end....Wouldn't even listen to their own councillors...”

Susan didn’t come to the meeting as she’s come down with a very heavy cold and is feeling extremely miserable. She’s tested negative on a number of occasions.
