Spotter

Out and about, a bit wet and windy but not a patch on what is coming.
It was good to get out around the Point and see the repairs to the collapsed wall, what great craftsmanship.
Going past the Docks viewing area I spotted this vessel in the dry dock and with my ship spotters app was able to identify her.
The Norbay was built in 1994 by Van Derw and originally to be placed on the Hull to Rotterdam route however, in 1996 Norbay was bought by P&O North sea ferries.
In 2002 Norbay and her sister ship Norbank became surplus to requirement and were removed from the route. Since then Norbay, because of her size and flexibility of use, has provided refit cover for P&O ferries on a variety of routes.
