A Very Long Day

Which started with a botanical garden presentation to a Portland neighborhood booster's association, lunch and backgammon with mom. Then home again for three botanical garden meetings, including a board meeting and finally (which I'm in now at 6:38 pm) a meeting to review the progress of our new website. So very cool...and will be launched tomorrow!

I did escape for a short walk this morning in between it all, and saw this lovely little clump of Tete-a-Tete daffodils basking in a cool rain shower at the edge of the driveway.
