Onion seedlings

I've had another really busy day but still managed to drop by the allotment to pop my new dahlia tubers into the greenhouse containers with the (now-dry) compost I'd prepared for them. I checked other plants for progress and was glad to see that, after a slow start, my onion seedlings are finally growing steadily.

In the afternoon, I co-led a volunteering session at Oxford City Farm and the crazy winds made gardening difficult and meant urgent repair jobs and pegging weed control fabric firmly into the soil.
