Picnic Area

Out to get some work bits and some other chores. Just locally but took my camera and sat and had lunch in the car park by the river in Biggleswade.
It’s called the Dan Albone car park and picnic area, after Biggleswade’s most famous son.
His love of all things cycling and mechanical is well known in the area and in 1880 he established The Ivel Cycle Works. He also invented the Ivel Tractor, which is featured in my blip and is a metal sculpture of him on it.
I have also added an extra of the river, not the most picturesque place,  on the edge of town and fairly close to the A1, but I was just seeing what I can do with the new lens. Quietly satisfied I would say at this point.
